HISTORY
CYN Counseling Center started in 1978 as a Case Management agency for the most complex cases of child abuse in Lake County. Today, CYN is a comprehensive, mental-health facility for all ages, providing expansive programming and specialties in Lake and McHenry Counties.

For more than 40 years, the core of our mission has remained to preserve and strengthen families while protecting children from abusive or high-risk situations. Now, we are pleased to serve ALL members of our community, including our most vulnerable populations, with general and specialized support to meet our clients wherever they are in life. We provide a continuum of care that includes education and advocacy, crisis support, specialty and generalized intervention and treatment, case management, and evidenced-based mental wellness practice.

STATEMENT OF DIVERSITY
Community Youth Network is committed to diversity at all levels of our organization, from the employees we hire to the people, programs, institutions, and businesses we support.

As a welcoming and inclusive organization, we seek to build relationships that reflect the diversity of the many clients we serve. We recognize that by doing so, our commitment directly contributes to fostering healthy, vibrant people, families, and communities.
